That would let him integrate his Force-based attacks into a defensive shell, and subsequently whenever he was expecting a significant fight, he would carry a second lightsaber.</span></p>

This would also not have as long of a blade as the primary saber, but would be a better off-hand choice.&nbsp;Subsequently, Ahn-Ton would sometimes carry this as his only blade when he was being a little more subtle.</span></p>
